Chef Dane Catering is hiring a part-time, on-call Production Cook to join our hardworking, high-volume, fast-paced culinary team! We’re looking for someone reliable, efficient, and passionate about food preparation for large-scale events.
Position Overview:
This is an on-call role with consistent work on Saturdays and Sundays and potential shifts on Thursdays and Fridays. Perfect for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and looking for weekend work.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and cook bulk recipes according to event production schedules
Follow prep lists and execute mise en place efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas
Package and label food for events with accuracy and care
Assist with dishwashing and cleanup as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen or catering production
Must be available every Saturday and Sunday
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for long periods
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Food Handler's Permit required
